ZOMBI: Album Preview Tracks Posted Online

December 17, 2008

Pittsburgh's sci-fi instrumental rock duo ZOMBI has posted two tracks from its forthcoming full-length album, "Spirit Animal", on the band's MySpace page. Check out the songs "Spirit Animal" and "Spirit Warrior" at this location.

The follow-up to 2006's "Surface To Air", "Spirit Animal" was self-recorded by ZOMBI throughout much of 2008 and is scheduled for release on February 3 in North America and February 9 in the rest of the world via Relapse.

The ZOMBI track "Night Rhythms", taken from "Surface To Air", was recently used in the Mary Lambert ("Pet Sematary", "Clubland") short "Dark Path Chronicles: Episode 5". The "Dark Path Chronicles" is a seven-part mini-series exclusive to Fearnet.com about a re-emerged vampire in modern-day Los Angeles.

ZOMBI's limited-edition split 12-inch vinyl with MASERATI is scheduled for release in early 2009 on Temporary Residence Ltd.
